During 2008, 34% of all young people that attended the Learn2Live Programme, re-integrated back into mainstream education.
What?
The Learn2Live Programme is based upon personal and social development for young people.
Why?
We aim to build vital personal, social and communication skills in young people who have been excluded from mainstream education.
How?
Fundamental to our programme is the development of good relationships between the young people and the FST team, so that trust is built between the two and the young people feel supported in whatever they are facing.
Through drama and role-play activities, lateral thinking exercises, team games, sport, and other tools, we aim to build their self-confidence, develop team working skills, challenge attitudes, broaden their communication, and develop individuality and creativity.
Where and When?
Through two half-day workshops per week, one on site and one off site, we use a wide variety of activities to challenge and educate the young people, and to make it something they enjoy and want to attend.
Who?
The FST team deliver the sessions
